Senior Human Resources Manager (Cape Town | JHB)

One of our clients who is one of South Africa’s most respected manufacturers and distributors of construction and municipal equipment. Their head office and production facility is based in Cape Town, with branch offices in Johannesburg, Durban and Port Elizabeth.

A newly established position, the Senior HR Manager will be the company’s first dedicated HR professional, tasked with building and leading core HR functions to shape future culture and processes. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented self-starter with strong knowledge of South African labour law, especially within the manufacturing and construction sector.

Reporting to the Managing Director and collaborating with department heads, this role will transition the business from informal HR practices to industry best standards.

Purpose of the role:

To lead and execute strategic human resource initiatives that align with the company’s operational goals, drive workforce performance, and support sustainable growth in a complex manufacturing and distributors of construction and municipal equipment environment.
